Having grown up on the edge of the countryside and having travelled extensively for work in rural locations in Italy and France for the past 17 years Emma's love for the outdoors has grown tremendously. A linguist, speaking German, Italian and French, Emma has been fascinated by abstract landscape art, Italian architecture and the presentation of different cultures through art. Her inspiration derives from the surrounding Staffordshire countryside, from her travels to the rolling hills and colours of southern Italy and from the dramatic beauty of the coast in South West France.  

 

Emma's art reflects an emotional response and feeling to the construction and composition of the landscape and flowers. She has developed a deep interest in portraying the landscape and art forms in relation to texture, patterns and colour.
